The Executive VFX Producer is responsible for leading the planning, management, and delivery of VFX, CGI, post-production, and content production projects across WPP Production's global client portfolio.
Working closely with clients, agency teams, creative leads, production partners, and specialist craft teams, this role ensures the successful execution of high-quality content across advertising, marketing, digital, social, retail, and commerce channels.
The Executive VFX Producer combines strong production expertise with operational leadership, overseeing complex multi-market projects while ensuring creative excellence, efficient delivery, and commercial accountability. The role acts as a key connection point between creative ambition and production execution, helping teams deliver content at scale while maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Lead the delivery of VFX, CGI, and post-production projects across global and regional client accounts.
- Develop production plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies that support successful project delivery.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies throughout the production lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to production teams.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, agency teams, creative leads, and production partners.
- Participate in project planning, scoping, and production discussions.
- Act as a trusted production lead throughout campaign development and execution.
- Ensure clear communication between stakeholders throughout the production process.
- Support client presentations, production reviews, and project status reporting.
- Oversee all phases of VFX and CGI production, including:
- Asset creation
- CGI imagery and animation
- Visual effects production
- Compositing and finishing
- Retouching and image production
- Colour management and quality control
- Final delivery
- Partner with creative and technical teams to maintain creative intent and production quality.
- Ensure best practices are followed throughout the production process.
- Help identify workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Support the production of content across multiple channels, including:
- Film and video
- Photography
- CGI and VFX
- Social content
- Digital marketing assets
- Retail and commerce content
- Localization and adaptation deliverables
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery across markets and channels.
- Help establish scalable approaches for high-volume content production.
- Manage resource planning and capacity across assigned projects.
- Coordinate internal teams, freelancers, and external vendors.
- Monitor project performance and proactively resolve production challenges.
- Support workflow optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, schedules, and reporting.
- Work closely with VFX studios, CGI partners, post-production facilities, and specialist suppliers.
- Assist with partner selection, scoping, scheduling, and delivery management.
- Ensure external partners meet agreed quality, timing, and budget expectations.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships across the production ecosystem.
- Manage project budgets, estimates, purchase orders, and forecasting.
- Track production costs and identify risks to project profitability.
- Ensure projects remain within approved commercial parameters.
- Support financial reporting and project reconciliation processes.
- Support production programs involving complex products and highly configurable assets, including automotive content.
- Coordinate workflows involving:
- Product variants
- Colour, Material and Finish (CMF) options
- Regional adaptations
- Product visualization assets
- Launch and lifecycle content
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
- Mentor junior producers and coordinators.
- Promote collaboration across creative, production, and craft teams.
- Share production best practices and lessons learned.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Wealth of experience in VFX production, CGI production, post-production, or integrated content production.
- Strong experience delivering advertising, marketing, or branded content projects.
- Solid understanding of VFX, CGI, post-production, and content adaptation workflows.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across international markets.
- Strong budget, scheduling, and resource management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience within agency networks, production companies, or content production organizations.
- Automotive production experience, particularly CGI and product visualization.
- Experience working with global brands and distributed production teams.
- Familiarity with emerging production technologies and evolving content workflows.
- Successful delivery of VFX and content projects on time, on budget, and to a high creative standard.
- Strong client and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Effective management of production teams, vendors, and partners.
- Consistent quality across multi-market content deliverables.
