Your Career

As a New Business Sales professional at MHR, you'll take ownership of creating and converting opportunities within the private sector, focusing on the Lower SME (LSME) market of organisations with fewer than 400 employees. You'll be responsible for generating new business demand for our People First platform, using a consultative, value-based approach to identify, qualify and develop opportunities from initial outreach through to handover. This role offers the opportunity to influence key decision-makers, build meaningful commercial relationships, and stay ahead of market trends while actively driving revenue growth within a high-growth market segment.

Your Team

You'll work as part of a driven and collaborative Sales team, supported by technical experts and wider business functions to ensure every opportunity is professionally positioned and supported. With a strong emphasis on new business lead generation, approximately 30% of your time will be spent prospecting, cold calling and building a healthy sales pipeline across the private sector LSME market. The remainder of your time will be focused on progressing opportunities, delivering compelling product demonstrations, coordinating proposals, and producing high-quality sales documentation and presentations. You'll also contribute valuable market insights and competitive intelligence, helping shape our go-to-market strategy for People First.

Your Impact

Your role will be instrumental in growing MHR's presence within the private sector LSME market, expanding our customer base by introducing organisations to the benefits of People First. Through proactive prospecting, professional engagement and a consultative sales approach, you'll generate new business opportunities and convert them into long-term customer partnerships. Your understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer challenges will help shape our commercial strategy, strengthen our market position and support MHR's continued growth in the lower SME space.
