Join the Albert Bartlett family as our Nightshift Hygiene Manager and help us continue to deliver top-quality potatoes to homes across the UK! We're a company with a rich heritage dating back to 1948, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

As our Nightshift Hygiene Manager, you'll be a key player in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment during the night hours. You'll lead the hygiene team with a friendly and proactive approach, ensuring that all hygiene standards are met and exceeded. If you're passionate about food safety and enjoy working in a close-knit team, this role is perfect for you!

What you'll be doing:

Overseeing all hygiene operations during the nightshift, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Leading and supporting the night hygiene team with a positive and encouraging leadership style.
Conducting regular hygiene audits and inspections to maintain high standards.
Collaborating with production and quality teams to promptly address any issues.
Keeping up to date with best practices and helping to implement improvements.
Reporting back on hygiene performance and sharing insights with senior management.

Requirements

Experience in hygiene management in a food manufacturing environment, ideally during night shifts.
A good understanding of food safety legislation and hygiene protocols.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A friendly and approachable manner to foster a positive team atmosphere.
Flexibility to work night shifts and a willingness to be hands-on when needed.
Relevant qualifications in food hygiene or related fields are beneficial but not essential.
