Housekeeper

Salary £12.94p/h

14 Hours Per Week (3 Shifts)

Mornings/Weekends

Delamere is the UK's only purpose-built addiction treatment clinic in the UK. Based in Cheshire, we are a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists and mentors who provide exemplary care to our guests as they grow beyond addiction. Our purpose-built clinic is an exceptional place to work and as a team we have the great privilege of helping guests who stay with us (typically for 4-6 weeks) make profound transformations. We are a values-led organisation, and we pride ourselves on setting standards for excellence and outcomes in the treatment of addiction.

Delamere’s housekeeper will be responsible for the upkeep of Delamere’s facilities, ensuring that the internal environment always looks pristine. You will be responsible for ensuring that the level of cleanliness is commensurate with the setting, which includes Guest Bedrooms, Communal Areas, Staff only areas and the Therapy suite.

This role would suit someone who has a keen eye for detail, is proactive and takes pride in maintaining high levels of cleanliness. You will be assigned daily activities and will be the first point of contact for any housekeeping related tasks. As a residential facility, it is important that all team members maintain a professional demeaner and represent Delamere at all levels. Delamere is a three-building clinic set across a 7-acre site, as such the role can be physical. Applicants must be confident that they are fit enough to meet the demands of the role.

Experience and Knowledge

Experience with working in a team and independently, preferably within a role which required cleaning and/or housekeeping.
Ability to demonstrate sweeping and mopping thoroughly, getting into tight corners and clean out accumulated dirt and grime.
Experience of working with different cleaning solutions and determining which is best suited for different surface types.
Good Communication skills are essential

Skills

Ability to adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards set by management.
Physical fitness to lift objects and work while standing.
Ability to use handheld and lightweight cleaning tools.
Good interpersonal skills including confidence in written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage day-to-day activities within the context of longer-term strategic goals.
An excellent team player who sets maintains high standards, motivates and supports colleagues, promoting personal development.
Being proactive on shift.
Willingness to learn.
