General hours of work are 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity. Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days; however, you may be also required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.

Responsibilities of a 12d or Unit 2 Traffic Management Operative Trainee:

The 12d or Unit 2 Traffic Management Operative Trainee sits at the heart of everything we do..

You will be responsible for:

Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying:
- cones,
- signs,
- frames,
- sandbags
- and other equipment
Helping and guiding new trainees, once qualified

What Good Looks Like for a 12d or Unit 2 Traffic Management Operative Trainee:

Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years
Able to pass a drug and alcohol test your offer will depend on the outcome of this
