We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Research, Design and Development team as an Assistant Principal Analysis Engineer at our Gloucester site.

Your Role
As an Assistant Principal Analysis Engineer, you will be required to propose efficient solutions to design & analytical problems to achieve business objectives. Ensure technical quality of Work package activities, act as a Analysis Technical focal and mentor, check and approve technical deliverables and support the creation, progression and usage of new analysis methods & tools.

Showing practical proficiency in a technical engineering discipline
Interfacing with other areas of the business where necessary: Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, Manufacturing etc.

Coaching engineers in theoretical and ‘real life' best practices

Representing Safran LS as a technical focal for internal and external activities
Producing high quality technical reports and analyses, within budged and deadlines
Checking and approving technical deliverables
Mentoring of less experienced engineer
Participate in technical audits & reviews
Comply with industry standards, regulations & qualification requirement

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring

Minimum of HNC/HND level, but ideally BSc/MSc, in an engineering discipline
Experience of working with recognised FEA software tools
Classical Static and Fatigue analysis experience
Experience with physical testing planning and designing
Ability to propose efficient pragmatic solutions to analytical problems
Ability to interpret data and events and looks for appropriate solutions
Strong communication skills
