Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Packer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing products, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in warehouse operations and fabrication processes, with potential for skill development in various technical areas.

Duties

Pack finished products accurately and securely according to specified standards
Inspect items for quality and completeness before packing
Operate hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment as required for packaging tasks
Assist with assembly and fabrication of packaging materials or components when necessary
Handle heavy lifting to move products or materials within the warehouse safely
Maintain organisation of packing stations and ensure all safety protocols are followed
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Keep the workspace clean and free from hazards to promote a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Mechanical knowledge beneficial, including familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment
Experience in fabrication or assembly work is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physically fit with the stamina to stand for extended periods during shifts
