Part time Project Manager- Brand Story
Job brief
The Project Manager Brand Story will lead the development and delivery of storytelling, communications and content activity across Neuthread and Mend it Dont Rag it community skills academy (MIDRI). The role will support the implementation of the wider Neuthread brand and communications approach while taking lead responsibility for developing and delivering the content, engagement and storytelling strategy for MIDRI. Working closely with the Neuthread leadership team, project staff, volunteers, beneficiaries and partners, the postholder will identify, capture and communicate the stories that sit at the heart of the project, bringing together themes of autism and neurodiversity, environmental add into sustainability, fashion, community impact, volunteering and social change.
The successful candidate will play a key role in showcasing volunteer journeys, community participation, environmental impact and movement growth, ensuring the voices and experiences of those involved remain at the centre of the project's development.
Hours- Flexible between 15 22.5 hours per week. Fixed term - 30th June 2028.
Salary-£34,000 per annum (pro rata)

Key Tasks

Support the delivery of the MIDRI communications and storytelling strategy, helping to achieve project objectives and funding outcomes.

Monitor communications activity, engagement and impact, contributing to reporting and continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate content plans, records and communications data.

Develop engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, PR and stakeholder communications.

Create written, photographic and video content that showcases the impact of MIDRI, its volunteers and communities.

Lead storytelling activities that highlight volunteer journeys, community participation, environmental impact and project achievements.

Ensure all communications reflect the values, voice and impact of Neuthread and the Mend It Don't Rag It movement.

Support campaigns, events and promotional activities that increase awareness, engagement and participation.

Promote project successes, learning and thought leadership across a range of audiences and platforms.

Work with volunteers, participants, partners and community members to capture experiences, feedback and stories.

Gather case studies, impact data and engagement insights to support evaluation, reporting and future development.

Use storytelling to inspire community action, strengthen partnerships and support the growth of the Mend It Don't Rag It movement.

Experience
