Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Wagon Driver to join our team. Based at our Formes Alutek site in Ellesmere Port, this role is vital in ensuring the efficient delivery of our products to clients and project sites, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier construction solutions.
Responsibilities

Operate flatbed trucks and other commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
Load, secure, and deliver aluminium doors, windows, and glazing products secured to stillages to various locations, mainly around Manchester and Leeds.
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the dispatch team.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
Assist with loading and unloading at pick-up and drop-off. Heavy lifting will be required.
Support the team in maintaining a clean and organised vehicle.
Contribute to a positive team environment focused on safety and quality.
Qualifications
Valid UK driving license with relevant categories for commercial driving, 7.5t and 18t.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or wagon driver, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sector.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate flatbed trucks and wagons safely.
Good communication skills and reliability.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation.
Physical ability to load and unload products when required.
Punctuality and strong work ethic.
