Purpose:

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Norwich store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.11 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders, play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

In return for your hard work, you will be offered fantastic opportunities for you to be able to grow and develop within your retail career.

This is a part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 16 hours per week.

Ideal candidate:

If you have energy, drive and passion to work in a fast paced, customer facing, retail environment, this is the role for you!

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

As a Key Holder you will be a trustworthy individual, responsible for the following key activities.

Key activities:

Open & close the store as and when required.
Being responsible for a set of store keys.
Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.

Personal characteristics:

A positive, can do attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
Methodical approach to completing daily tasks – including stock SKU management.
High levels of attention to detail.
The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
The commitment to work 16 hours per week and the flexibility to work any day (Monday - Sunday).

Salary/Pay:

up to £13.11 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
