About the role
As a Salesforce Engineer, you'll play a critical role in our cross-functional Agile team, working alongside Product, Design, and Engineering to create innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the business. Your expertise will be essential in a key pricing and packaging project, where you will develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions to improve processes, enhance user experience, and drive automation.
Responsibilities

Customisation & Coding - Develop and maintain both declarative and programmatic solutions, with a strong focus on Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and Apex.

Integration Projects - Work on complex integration projects involving external applications, APIs, Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) and web services

Collaboration - Partner closely with Designers and Product Managers to translate user insights and business requirements into impactful technical solutions.

Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement improvements to optimise system performance and user experience.
What we’re looking for in Zoopla Engineers

Proven Salesforce Expertise - Certified Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I qualifications (Platform Developer II is a plus) would be preferable but demonstrable real world experience will also be considered.

Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWCs), including lifecycle hooks, LDS, and complex form handling.

Experience with data modelling - Skilled in designing and maintaining scalable Salesforce data models.

Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript.

Knowledge of external integrations (e.g. connected apps, Apex callouts, outbound messaging, REST/SOAP APIs).
