The Role
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, and cloud-native engineering.
This is a frontend-leaning full-stack role, where you’ll spend most of your time building modern, performant web applications using React and TypeScript, while working closely with cloud platforms to design, deploy, and scale production systems.
You’ll collaborate across the stack, with backend services primarily in Python and Node.js (nice to have), and play an active role in shaping how applications run, scale, and are observed in cloud environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript
Design scalable, maintainable UI architectures and component systems
Contribute to backend services where needed (Python / Node.js)
Design and integrate with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
Work closely with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) to build and operate scalable systems
Deploy and manage applications in containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows
Implement observability practices (logging, monitoring, tracing)
Apply secure coding practices and ensure systems meet required standards
Troubleshoot issues across application and cloud infrastructure layers
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients to deliver production-ready systems
Required
Strong experience with React and TypeScript (primary focus)
Experience building modern, production-ready web applications
Understanding of frontend performance, state management, and component-driven design
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
Experience building or integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs
Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes beneficial)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of observability concepts (logging, monitoring, tracing)
Solid foundation in software engineering principles and system design
Awareness of secure coding practices and data protection considerations
Nice to Have
Experience with Python and/or Node.js backend development
Experience running applications on Kubernetes in production
Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g. Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Exposure to distributed or event-driven architectures
Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment
Familiarity with security-conscious or regulated environments
