Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Darlington

Salary: £15.23 per hour

Contract: Temporary - Long term supply

About the role

September start

Source Supply are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work at a small primary school in Darlington.

To be considered for this role, it is expected that you have a solid understanding of the EYFS Curriculum and hold a recognised qualification in Early Years.

The school’s mission is to nurture the happy and friendly children who attend this school. The successful EYFS Teaching assistant will help the learners take their first steps towards finding a love for education, inspiring their minds and opening their eyes to the world around them.

Those who attend this school are capable, productive and responsible young people who the community are proud of. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an EYFS setting that really does care about making a positive impact in setting children up for their future, with the support and help of a close-knit wider school family.

Applicants must hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years.

Requirements

All successful applicants will:

Hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years.
Experience in working with children in a school setting.
A nurturing, patient and consistent approach.
Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
