What you'll do
You'll be at the centre of transformation strategy execution - supporting how change initiatives are selected, prioritised, sequenced, and delivered for maximum value. You'll lead a focused portfolio of business and technology change activity, partnering with senior stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into practical delivery plans. The role blends portfolio management, strategic planning, governance, and delivery oversight.
In this role, you'll:
- Translate business strategy into a clear and prioritised transformation portfolio.
- Lead portfolio planning, governance and delivery oversight across multiple initiatives across the UK and Northern Ireland.
- Develop and maintain transformation roadmaps, balancing short and long-term priorities.
- Oversee investment planning, resource allocation and capacity management.
- Establish governance forums, reporting frameworks and decision-making processes that support clear, confident senior-level decision-making.
- Monitor benefits, risks, dependencies and portfolio performance.
- Build trusted relationships with Partners, senior leaders and delivery teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across portfolio management and delivery practices.
- Support the successful integration of change across the business.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of project and delivery professionals.

What we're looking for

It offers an ideal next step for someone developing their portfolio or programme management career and ready to move towards a Head of-level opportunity. The successful candidate will bring strong transformation leadership, the ability to create clarity from complexity, and the confidence to translate strategy into delivery.
In this role you'll bring:
- Significant experience leading complex transformation portfolios or substantial programme portfolios, with the appetite and credibility to step into a broader portfolio leadership role.
- Strong portfolio governance, prioritisation and investment planning expertise.
- Experience delivering technology-enabled business change.
- Strong commercial, financial and benefits realisation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capability.
- Experience managing risk, dependencies and delivery performance.
- Strong communication, facilitation and decision-making skills.
- Experience developing high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Collaborative leadership style with a focus on outcomes, innovation and continuous improvement, and the confidence to shape ways of working in a growing Transformation function.
- Relevant qualifications such as MoP, MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent would be advantageous.
