Job Type: Part-time / Out-of-Hours
Schedule:

Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Location: Peel Green Dental, M30 7HD

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Dentist to provide urgent dental care services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental emergencies promptly, ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team, utilise advanced dental technologies, and make a significant impact on patients' oral health during critical moments. The position is paid and suitable for qualified dentists specialising in emergency dental procedures.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose dental emergencies efficiently, prioritising patient needs
Perform urgent treatments including extractions, root canals, and temporary restorations
Apply comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy to ensure precise procedures
Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to inform treatment plans
Provide clear explanations to patients regarding their condition and treatment options
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up procedures

Qualifications

Fully qualified Dentist with registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
Proven experience in emergency dental care or acute dental treatments is desirable
Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to oral and maxillofacial regions
Competent in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays
Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure anxious patients
Ability to work effectively under pressure within a dynamic environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality
