Full job description

An opportunity has arisen within the Property Department for a full-time Finance/Systems Supervisor based at Ninewells Hospital on a Fixed Term/Secondment for 9 months.

You should have administrative experience in a similar role and supervisory experience would be beneficial along with the ability to demonstrate the skills required to support a diverse and fast paced service.

You will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the Clerical Team, working under the leadership of the Assistant Admin Services Manager. You will be responsible for efficiently organising all training courses for the Property Department whilst monitoring and supporting the processes/systems maintained by the Team. This requires the ability to encourage and support Team members whilst maintaining own workload in a very busy environment.

An HND in Business Administration is required or equivalent relevant experience. Supervisory experience and the ability to complete workload to a high standard whilst organising and prioritising workload of the Clerical Team are requirements of this post.

You will provide supervisors support for the Faultline/Reception Team and undertake essential supervisor duties in times of planned and unplanned leave.

There may be an occasional requirement to travel to other sites across Tayside.

You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment. Information on the Healthcare Support Worker Regulations can be found on NHS Tayside microsite on Staffnet>Our Websites>Healthcare Support Workers.

Hours of work are: 36 per week (Monday-Friday). Fixed Term/Secondment for 9 Months.
