Full job description

Do you enjoy designing apps, solving problems and turning ideas into clear designs?

JKM Technologies is looking for a creative and technically-minded Product Designer to join our growing team in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

We're looking for somebody with creativity, attention to detail and a genuine interest in technology.

You don't need years of experience. We are happy to consider junior candidates with the right attitude and potential.

You will work directly with customers and our development teams to help shape and design new software products, Android applications, cloud systems and business solutions.

This role combines:

UI/UX Design
Wireframing
Customer Requirement Gathering
Process Mapping
Functional Specifications
Figma Prototyping
Product Design

This is not a developer role, although an interest in technology and how software works is important.

We are far more interested in finding someone with talent, curiosity, creativity and a desire to learn than somebody who already knows everything.

Location

This is primarily an office-based role in:

Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire

Applicants should ideally be within reasonable daily commuting distance.

Eligibility

Applicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK at the time of application.

What You'll Be Doing

Meeting customers and understanding requirements
Producing technical specifications
Creating wireframes and user journeys
Designing interfaces in Figma
Working with developers throughout projects
Improving existing products and workflows
Helping shape new products and ideas
