Full job description

Location: Huish Park, Yeovil
Position Type: Matchday / Event-driven (Casual/Part-time)

Direct Summary: Join the safety team at Huish Park to protect fans, staff, and players on matchdays and during stadium events.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control: Check tickets, passes, and credentials at designated entry points.
Crowd Management: Monitor crowd behavior to prevent overcrowding and disruptions.
Hospitality Security: Guard VIP lounges, director areas, and corporate suites.
Patrols: Conduct regular sweeps of the stadium perimeter and stands.
Ejections: Assist stewards with removing non-compliant individuals safely.
Emergency Response: Lead evacuation procedures if an incident occurs.

Requirements

Licensing: Valid SIA Door Supervisor is mandatory.
Communication: Clear, assertive verbal communication skills in English.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to de-escalate high-tension situations calmly.
Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and evening matchdays.
