We are currently seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join the team at The Atlantic Hotel as a Hotel Operations Assistant. This is a varied and hands-on role that supports the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel across multiple departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, reception, porterage and guest services.

Responsibilities

Support the daily operation of the hotel across departments, assisting during busy periods, events, staff absence and holiday cover.
Provide support within food and beverage operations, including breakfast, restaurant, bar and event service.
Assist reception and front-of-house teams with guest enquiries, directions, luggage assistance and check-in/check-out support under supervision.
Carry out porter duties, including luggage assistance, deliveries and general guest support.
Respond to guest requests promptly, professionally and courteously.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer care throughout the hotel.
Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns.

Requirements

A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A flexible approach and willingness to work across a variety of departments.
Reliable, punctual and well presented.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A willingness to undertake training and learn new skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
