Candidate profile (text) - Default language IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Weekend Only Customer Relations Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

If you are looking for a role where you get to build your customer service skills and help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you.

We have 12-hour contracts working on our Check-Outs and Customer Relations / Returns areas, where you would provide after sales support.

WHAT WE OFFER

The Start Date of employment will be 5th of September 2026.
Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
12 Hours working 2 days per week Available to work two 6-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as ad hoc shifts through the week (Monday to Friday) is required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

You prefer to take initiative, are adept at juggling several responsibilities at once, and value teamwork while also being able to complete assignments without direct supervision.
You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
You are computer literate and able to work with technology.
The confidence to maintain composure and patience when dealing with a variety of customers and complex complaints.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

You aim to create a positive experience for our customers so that they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
Meeting and greeting our customers, assisting customers at the check-outs and returns desk.
Build loyalty by listening to our customers and using your knowledge of the IKEA product range to offer informed solutions.
