We are seeking 1 x Keyholder Sales Assistant (32 Hours) to join a relaxed and friendly team in our Portsmouth Store. Full time positions available providing great benefits: Being part of a premium technical apparel brand, competitive salary, product training will be provided and generous staff discount and uniform allowance.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Working as part of the sales team to maximise sales by providing excellent customer service in a clean, tidy and well-merchandised store.

To ensure the smooth operation of the store, maintain the standards of the store and achieve sales targets by:

Keeping displays and the shop floor clean and tidy at all times.
Operating the till and accurately handling cash, cheque and card transactions.
Cashing up and banking accurately in accordance with Finance procedures.
Assist in changing displays in accordance with visual merchandising guidelines.
Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock to replenish the shop floor or stock room.
Assist with stock take activity (this may need to occur out of normal trading hours)
Be vigilant at all times to minimise stock loss or fraudulent transactions.
Assisting customers in store, providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate would have:

Experience in retail clothing store-based role (Essential)
Have a good understanding of what constitutes great customer service
Be aware of common retail Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Be driven to seek continuous improvement and be the best in the business
Take pride in everything they do and be keen to work to consistently high standards
Be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel)
An interest in sports and/or outdoor pursuits would be beneficial but not necessary.

This role will require the successful applicant to work some weekends and bank holidays on a variable shift pattern.
