Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team . This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation and kitchen operations within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our kitchen. This position is ideal for someone with a keen interest in culinary arts and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
Support cooking processes under supervision, ensuring recipes and presentation standards are maintained
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
Prepare ingredients and assist with plating meals for service
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Support meal service by assisting servers as needed, including serving food and attending to customer requests
Help with stock rotation and inventory checks to ensure freshness of ingredients and supplies

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable
Experience in cooking, meal preparation, or restaurant environments will be considered a plus
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks within the kitchen setting

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
