Start Your Career in Quality Engineering

Are you looking to begin a rewarding career in engineering and manufacturing? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Quality Engineer to join our Quality team.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a four-year Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician (Level 3) apprenticeship programme. You will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a competent Quality Engineer working alongside experienced professionals in a modern manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will learn how to:

Support the inspection and verification of products to ensure they meet customer and company quality standards.
Use a range of measuring equipment and quality inspection techniques.
Assist with investigating quality issues and identifying root causes.
Record, analyse and report quality data.
Support continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing process.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and quality documentation.
Work safely and follow company quality management systems and procedures.
Collaborate with production, engineering and other departments to help maintain high-quality standards.

As your skills develop, you will take on increasing responsibility and become an integral member of the Quality team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Enthusiastic about engineering and manufacturing.
Curious, motivated and eager to learn.
A good problem solver with strong attention to detail.
Organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
Committed to completing a four-year apprenticeship programme.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have (or be predicted to achieve):

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics and Science at Grade 4/C or above (or the apprenticeship provider's entry requirements).
A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance.
