The Bower Inn is a charming 18th-century pub, restaurant and hotel situated on the edge of the Somerset Levels near Bridgwater. We have 15 beautiful on-suite bedrooms individually decorated in a modern country style and offering everything you need for the perfect stay, whether you’re in the area for business or enjoying a weekend getaway or staycation.

Inside you’ll find gorgeous, rustic interiors complete with exposed brick walls and wood flooring, and relaxed dining space for both intimate meals and larger gatherings. Outside, you can dine alfresco surrounded by stunning wildflowers in our large courtyard beer garden.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring every shift delivers great hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
Leading by example and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service standards every day.
Coaching, developing and motivating team members, helping them build confidence and grow their careers.
Driving a positive and inclusive team culture where people feel valued and supported.
Supporting with stock control, rotas, compliance and operational standards.
Taking ownership of the guest journey and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
Helping to deliver strong commercial performance while maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere our pubs are known for.
