About The Role

ER Coordinator

Project : MEH Alliance - HPC

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: TBC

Salary: Competitive Salary +benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Manage register of live cases – investigations, grievances, disciplinaries etc. to Ensure effective, timely case management of people related issues.
Coordinate arrangement of ER cases on a timely basis in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.
Support the MEH ER Manager with the provision of day-to-day advice and guidance to supervisors and managers.
Liaise with MEHJV parent companies HR / ER teams as required
Support MEH Local Joint Council meetings, acting as note-taker.
Liaise with HPC recognised Trade Union Convenors as required.
Support ER Manager in project work.
Consistently act with integrity and confidentiality.
Compile ER weekly management reports activities.
Advise and coach managers to effectively manage Employee Relations issues in line with HPC Common Framework Agreement.
All other duties as required.

Key Requirements:

Essential:

Previous HR or ER experience preferred
CIPD Level 3 or Level 3 CertRP or working towards

Desirable:

Excellent MS office skills – particularly MS Excel
Strong administrative and decision-making skills.
High attention to detail
Excellent communicator
Previous experience in a Trade Union/construction environment advantageous
