Overview

Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Van Vendor and bring joy to communities with delicious treats! In this energetic role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the wheel of our colorful ice cream vans, delivering delightful desserts while engaging with customers of all ages. Your enthusiasm and excellent driving skills will ensure smooth journeys and memorable experiences. Responsibilities

Safely operate the ice cream van along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream treats, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene
Engage with customers in a friendly, upbeat manner, upselling popular items to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van’s interior and exterior at all times
Manage cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and recording sales
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly
Promote special offers, new flavors, or seasonal products to enhance customer experience and boost sales

Requirements

Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience driving commercial vehicles or vans
Prior experience in food preparation or serving in a restaurant or food service environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of perishable items
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
Strong time management skills to stay on schedule during routes
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Ability to communicate clearly, engage positively with customers, and work independently
