Chef de Partie

Location: The Florence Arms
Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Positions Available: Part-Time & Full-Time

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. If you love cooking with fresh ingredients, take pride in classic dishes, and enjoy adding your own creative flair, we'd love to hear from you.

Our kitchen is built around quality and craftsmanship. We make our own fresh stocks, sauces, and bread, serving classic British pub food with modern touches, alongside original dishes inspired by flavours from around the world.

What You'll Be Doing

Running your section confidently during service.
Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard.
Making fresh stocks, sauces, bread, and other core kitchen preparations from scratch.
Helping develop seasonal specials and new menu ideas.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
Supporting junior chefs and working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
Ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail in every dish.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis/Demi Chef ready to step up.
Passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Knowledge of classic cooking techniques and a desire to learn and develop.
Creativity and enthusiasm for bringing new ideas to the menu.
A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
Reliable, hardworking, and a great team player.
