Full job description

We are looking for a dedicated Services Pharmacist who will primarily concentrate on Weight Loss & Travel Clinic, to work one a day a week on Saturdays (4-6 hrs).

We are a busy dispensary which aims to provide an efficient and friendly service to all our patients. The pharmacist will be supported by a fantastic and experienced dispensary support team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly driven and highly motivated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role providing these Services to the local community. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills.

Duties

Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management and patient counselling.
Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication administration and patient care.
Educate patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs or food.
Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

GPhC registered Pharmacist
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
