Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Vale Resort as a Casual Leisure Housekeeping Assistant.

The Vale Resort, a premier 4-star resort, nestled in the Welsh countryside, offers far more than your luxury hotel! With 143 bedrooms, 2 championship golf courses, Wales’ largest spa, an award-winning restaurant and exceptional sporting facilities – we are quite simply one of the UK’s most desirable hospitality workplaces.

We are looking for a night housekeeping assistant who works to the high standards that are expected within the resort to maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness.

About the Role:

Duties include:

Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising public areas, and restrooms.
Handle laundry duties, including folding, and restocking linens.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Restock housekeeping supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is properly stored.
Adhere to hotel policies, health, and safety regulations.

About you:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during the shift.
Willingness to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service
