Overview
We are a steel detailing, fabrication & installation business based in Newton Abbot, who now seek an additional experienced Architectural Metalwork & Steelwork estimator.

We produce a wide variety of work in both mild steel & stainless steel including;

Architectural Metalwork
Secondary Steelwork
Structural Steelwork

The Role

Estimating architectural metalwork secondary steelwork & structural steel.
To read and interpret architects and engineering drawings .
To understand, evaluate & populate estimating data into the company’s estimating systems.
Comply & assist with H&S procedures & requirements.

The Candidate

Experience from a steel fabrication & installation background & familiar in estimating steel fabrication / architectural metalwork.
Ability to use CAD software systems & 3D detailing in particular, is a distinct advantage
Ability to use excel, word.
Driven by quality of workmanship.
Ability to work in a close knit fast track business.
Good communication skills & able to liaise with Architects, Engineers & Clients.
Good IT Skills & CSCS an advantage.
