At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team.

This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, and will be working as part of our Occupational Health department.

As a Occupational Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will support the Occupational Health department in meeting business needs, legal obligations, and best practice, ensuring employee wellbeing, workplace safety, and compliance are prioritised across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email.
Coordinate Occupational Health appointments and maintain confidential employee records.
Carry out drug and alcohol testing in line with company policy.
Support health and wellbeing initiatives and training across the business.
Produce reports, maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to the Occupational Health team.
Handle sensitive information in line with GDPR, company policies and professional standards.

About You

Previous experience of working in an office environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in planning and managing schedules that support business needs.
Strong communication skills.

The Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. We offer flexibility in our start and finish times between 06:15 - 09:30 and 14:30 – 18:00.

These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 - 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
