We specialize in processing of fresh pork at our Westerleigh site!

Due to continuous grow we have number of fantastic opportunities for within Our Team at Westerleigh site!

We are recruiting for permanent roles on the Monday to Friday shift pattern:

Butchery Operative (day shift)
Hygiene Operatives (day / night shifts)
Skilled Butchers
Abattoir Operatives (day shift, 4 out of 5 days)
Packing Operatives (Days, afternoons)

It would be desirable for candidates to have:

Positive thinking and self-motivation
Ability to use own initiative
An excellent attitude to work
A hands-on approach to solving issues
Previous experience as a pork butcher or meat processor in Food Manufacturing
Advanced knife handling skills
Manual handling

In your role you will:

Cut, bone and trim meat (Pork)
Accurately cut and weigh meat to meet predetermined weight and size specifications
Ensure product is processed according to Customer Specifications
Safely operate machinery including band saws
Comply with Company policies, Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards at all the times, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
