Job title: Facial Aesthetics Practitioner / Associate – Cardiff (Injectables & Advanced Skin)

Job type: Self-employed / Associate

Schedule: Flexible sessions, ideally to include a few weekend hours, with capacity to grow as busy as wanted as patient base grows!

Pay: Percentage split of treatments, percentage based on experience and qualifications

Smile Aesthetics by Jamie is a results-led aesthetics clinic in the heart of Cardiff, known for natural outcomes and a loyal following. Our founder was named Businessman of the Year at the International Aesthetics Awards, we hold 135+ five-star reviews, and we work exclusively with Teoxane for injectables. From our three-room clinic at The Maltings, we offer a curated menu of injectables and advanced skin treatments to patients who trust us and keep coming back.

Due to diaries becoming fully booked with injectable treatments and to allow more diary space for new patients, we're now looking for a skilled, personable practitioner to join us as an associate and grow alongside the clinic, along with 3 other staff members already working at Smile Aesthetics.

What you'll be doing

Delivering anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments to a very high clinical and aesthetic standard, focussing on NATURAL results only
Optionally performing advanced skin treatments such as BioRePeel, microneedling, skin boosters and facials
Carrying out thorough consultations, treatment planning and aftercare
Building lasting relationships with patients and representing the clinic's standards and reputation
Keeping accurate, compliant records and working within current regulatory and insurance requirements

What we're looking for

A healthcare background is a must, with current professional registration
Recognised aesthetics training, with hands-on experience (at least 1 year) in injectables and ideally advanced skin treatments, although if not confident in specific treatments, training and shadowing can be provided to ensure competence
Independent prescriber status is a strong advantage
Excellent bedside manner, attention to detail and a natural, less-is-more aesthetic eye
Someone reliable, professional and genuinely lovely with patients, brilliant people skills are a MUST
Someone with ambition to grow and increase their patient base within the clinic, and that doesn't mind being on social media (all social media is handled by us but you must be comfortable with photos/videos being posted to help fill your diary)
