Set on the Thames in Vauxhall, this landmark seven-acre riverside neighbourhood brings together 1,187 homes within a vibrant, mixed-residential community shaped by a major regeneration scheme. You’ll work in a dynamic estate environment with landscaped public realm, buzzing local amenities and on-site services that keep the place moving. With Vauxhall station just a few minutes’ walk, you’ll have easy Victoria line and National Rail links across London. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where no two days feel the same.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will coordinate the smooth running of estate and facilities services, acting as the first point of contact for residents, contractors and colleagues. You’ll plan and track works, maintain accurate compliance records, carry out inspections and ensure health and safety standards are consistently met. You’ll keep communication flowing, solving problems quickly and keeping stakeholders informed.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Residents feel listened to, updated and delighted with timely resolutions.
- Planned and reactive works are scheduled, tracked and closed out within SLAs.
- Compliance documentation, permits and records are accurate, current and audit-ready.
- Risks are identified early and mitigated through proactive inspections and follow-up.
- Contractors are well-briefed, safe and deliver to clear scopes and standards.
- Clear, concise reporting keeps managers and stakeholders confident and informed.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
- Managing the helpdesk inbox and calls, logging requests and allocating work orders.
- Coordinating contractors: bookings, inductions, permits to work and RAMS checks.
- Scheduling and tracking PPM and reactive tasks, updating systems and records.
- Carrying out regular estate inspections and following up on snags to completion.
- Maintaining H&S and compliance files, meter reads and statutory testing logs.
- Raising POs, receipting invoices and preparing concise weekly updates and reports.

EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
- Coordination experience within residential estates, facilities or property services.
- Contractor supervision, permits to work and familiarity with RAMS.
- Customer service in a premium or front-of-house environment.
- Using CAFM or ticketing systems and Microsoft 365.
- Basic budget administration, POs and invoice processing.
