As a Project Manager specializing in steelwork & Architectural Metalwork, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of steel construction projects from initiation to completion. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality steel structures within budget and schedule constraints.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Initiation:
Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Team Leadership:
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, steel fabricators, and construction crews.
Budget and Cost Management:
Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Implement cost control measures and strategies to optimize project profitability.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards in steel fabrication and construction.
Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Timeline Management:
Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and potential risks.
Implement effective scheduling and resource allocation strategies to meet project deadlines.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
Ensure that all aspects of the project comply with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in steel construction or structural engineering.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, welding, and construction methods.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Solid understanding of construction contracts, documents, and specifications.
Certifications:
SMSTS & CSCS Card preferable
