Full job description

We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Domiciliary Care Supervisor to join our amazing team Thorncliffe Home Care working in the Washington and Sunderland areas.

Pay: £14.27 an hour PLUS fuel allowance / £13.27 Mon-Fri & £13.77 Sat-Sun for any care covering shifts

Hours per week: We have flexible working hours for staff to work between 16 and 40 hours per week.

Working times: We have excellent working hours to suit EVERYONE which are:

Varied shifts between 7am - 11pm
Please note, we can offer other shift patterns to suit people’s personal needs.
On-call time 6am - 11pm

Key responsibilities:

Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation, medication ,and light housework
Accompanying to appointments or shopping
Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
On-call duties: handle the emergency on call phone for a full week, on rotation with other supervisors, giving advice, covering shifts, completing monitoring and compliance of care assistants.
