Background

We are currently looking for a proactive and ambitious Associate to join our Dispute Resolution Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded litigator to take ownership of high-quality work and play a key role in developing the insolvency litigation side of our Commercial Dispute offering.

The role

This role offers the opportunity to advise and represent directors in defending liquidator claims (misconduct, breach of duty, DLA, preference and TUV). You will also manage complex director and shareholder disputes from inception through to resolution. In addition, you will handle a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes and other general commercial disputes.

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience autonomously managing a caseload of insolvency litigation and commercial dispute resolution work, with a strong track record of acting for company directors and shareholders. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential, together with the ability to manage priorities effectively while working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
