Job Title: Domestic Services Staff Member

Location: Tigh Na Muirn Ltd, Monifieth

Employment Type: full-time(5 days from 7 including weekends)

Salary: £12.71 p/h

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a diligent and motivated Domestic Services Staff Member to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment within the care home, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties to the highest standard in residents' rooms, communal areas, and other designated spaces.
Ensure all cleaning materials and supplies are used safely and responsibly.
Support the implementation of infection control measures and health and safety policies.
Assist with laundry services as required, including washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing and linens.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the management promptly.
Foster positive relationships with residents and staff, promoting a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a domestic or housekeeping role, preferably in a care or healthcare setting (not essential but desirable).
A good understanding of health and safety regulations and infection control practices.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards residents.
