Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Porter and be the backbone of our vibrant kitchen environment! Duties

Ensure all kitchen areas are kept spotless by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff, such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, storage areas, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
Support the setup and breakdown of dining areas during service times to guarantee a seamless guest experience.
Manage waste disposal responsibly by sorting recyclables and ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
Restock supplies such as towels, cleaning products, and utensils to keep the kitchen fully equipped for daily needs.
Follow all safety protocols and hygiene regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment for everyone.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Basic knowledge of food handling, kitchen sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
