Divorce & Financial Remedy Team

Family Law Group is a leading firm of Solicitors with a diverse workforce spread over 12 offices, specialising in all areas of family law. If you have a strong desire to make a positive difference then we are the firm for you.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Paralegal with a passion for family law to join the Divorce & Financial Remedy Team in our Nottingham Office.

You will play a key role in supporting fee earners with the day-to-day management of cases, the preparing and drafting of legal documents, correspondence and court forms, assisting with financial disclosure, preparing court bundles, managing diaries and ensuring files are kept up to date on the firms case management system.

You will be joining an exceptional team headed up by some of the leading lawyers in this specialist area of law and a firm that has clear values and principles, to enable its lawyers to achieve the best possible outcomes for their clients.

As well as gaining invaluable experience within a professional legal firm, we offer all our employees the opportunity to develop and progress within the firm and provide these opportunities through training, support and bespoke legal events.

Key Requirements

2:1 Law Degree
Previous experience in family law is advantageous, particularly in divorce and financial remedy matters
Knowledge of court procedures and preparing bundles
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The desire to help the team to grow and develop
To build strong relationships with clients and your colleagues

Salary

This is a full-time permanent position to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The starting salary for this position is £23,132.20.
