"We are looking to recruit an Information Systems Specialist to be part of our 3rd line Infrastructure team.

The infrastructure team is responsible for a wide variety of on premise and cloud hosted infrastructure and applications,

As well as managing a large number of windows devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing the fleet of devices using Intune and SCCM and provide support for the Azure platform including troubleshooting server issues, building new servers, monitoring and maintaining the existing cloud infrastructure.

The role will provide 3rd line infrastructure support for a range of ICT applications and systems and provide advice and guidance to enable Services to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery and respond to changing requirements.

Utilising a broad range of skills to assist with the resolution of a wide variety of technical issues.

Typically the role involves the use of MECM, Intune, Windows, Windows Server 2022 onwards, Active Directory, VMware, Azure Cloud Solutions, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Backups and Recovery, Group Policy Management, PowerShell and Windows Updates services.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
