Job title: SEND Financial Analyst

The role:

As a SEND Financial Analyst, you will be responsibleto bringing together data modelling and analyse information submitted in the Liverpool SEND Reform Plans, while looking ahead to how financial modelling can evolve as reforms are implemented and be involved in the SEND finance transformation. This post Responsibilities typically include This will involve

You will also support the Group Finance Manager for assisting in the financial oversight of the SEND reform plan

Key responsibilities

Evaluate financial and non-financial data, build forecasting models, and creates actionable reports
Quarterly reporting to Department for Education (DfE) variance analysis, budgeting, monitoring progress and evaluating the financial impact of the interventions over time
Collaborating with the SEND team, Data team and work with schools to analyse their SEND cohort funding and expenditure
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters around SEND reforms
Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and efficient financial forecast using data, budgeting and month-end
Review SEND funding mechanisms for Liverpool

This role is fixed term for 3 years.
