Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Business Administrator Apprentice to join our team. This paid apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in office administration within a professional environment. The role involves supporting daily administrative tasks, developing organisational skills, and learning about business operations. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, organised, and possess strong computer skills. This position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in business administration and develop essential skills for future growth.

Responsibilities

Assisting with general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
Managing correspondence via email, phone calls, and postal mail with professional etiquette
Organising appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
Supporting the team with administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised
Contributing to continuous improvement of administrative processes through feedback and initiative

Experience

Previous office experience or administrative experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Familiarity with data entry and clerical tasks
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong typing skills and attention to detail
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software or procedures efficiently
