Development Project Manager - Property Development, Delivery & Operations
Location: South London (with regular site visits across Greater London)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time
About Us
We are an established property developer delivering a range of commercial and residential projects across London.
Our projects range from workspace and commercial developments through to refurbishment, redevelopment and operational property assets. We are hands-on, entrepreneurial and focused on getting things done.
We are looking for a proactive Development Project Manager to become a key member of our core team and help drive projects from planning stage through to delivery, handover and operation.
The Role
This is not a traditional desk-based project management role.
You will be responsible for helping keep multiple projects moving forward, coordinating consultants and contractors, tracking progress against programmes and budgets, attending sites regularly, and ensuring that agreed actions are delivered.
You will act as the central point of coordination between our internal team and external stakeholders, helping ensure projects remain on track and aligned with the intended commercial and operational objectives.
You will also remain involved after project completion, supporting handovers, operational setup and ongoing site-related matters.
As a growing business, we need someone who is flexible and willing to get involved wherever required. One day you may be chairing a consultant meeting, the next you may be coordinating a utility connection, attending a site installation, obtaining meter readings or helping resolve an operational issue.

Operational Handover
- Support projects through handover into operation.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations and back-office teams.
- Assist with defects, queries and site transition matters.
- Ensure site knowledge is retained within the business.

- Capture lessons learned from each project.
- Help improve systems, processes, templates and delivery methods.
- Ensure successful approaches are implemented across future projects.

- Highly proactive and self-motivated.

- Building consultancy
- Commercial property

We are more interested in attitude, organisation, accountability and problem-solving ability than a specific professional background.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is not simply completing projects.
Success means ensuring projects are delivered on time, aligned with budget, coordinated effectively, handed over smoothly and set up to achieve their intended commercial and operational objectives.
If you enjoy taking ownership, solving problems, working across multiple projects and being part of a growing business, we would love to hear from you.
