Job Summary

Join our team as a Saturday Counter/Dispensary Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care and seamless pharmacy operations. Duties

Greet patients and customers warmly, providing excellent service and guidance on medication pick-up procedures
Assist in verifying prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and completeness before dispensing
Support pharmacy technicians with medication inventory management and restocking supplies
Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant dispensary areas in accordance with safety standards
Answer patient inquiries professionally, providing clear information about medication usage and pharmacy services
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow during busy weekend hours

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role preferred
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment
Basic computer skills for managing prescriptions and inventory systems
Must be available to work on Saturdays consistently; flexibility for additional hours is a plus
