Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive, between 3-5 years PQE, to join our reputable and expanding legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional legal services focused on private client matters, including estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications and succession planning. Your expertise will help clients secure their future and protect their assets while providing clear, transparent guidance throughout every step of the process. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney with precision and clarity
Provide expert advice on estate planning strategies that align with clients’ personal goals and legal requirements
Assist clients through probate and estate administration processes with transparency and thoroughness
Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients to reach favorable outcomes in complex estate and trust matters
Conduct detailed legal research to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices
Build strong relationships with clients by offering clear communication, empathetic support, and proactive guidance

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3 -5 years PQE and proven experience in private client law
Strong knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and succession law
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and transparently
Proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding client service
Relevant legal certifications or memberships that support your expertise in private client law
Computer literate and confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Excellent client‑facing, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently, manage a busy caseload, and prioritise effectively

Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
Committed to working 2–3 days per week in our Ash, Surrey office
