Full job description

Hours: 25 hours per week (09:00-15:00)

Overview
TBA Global is an international tax, accounting, and compliance service provider, supporting global e-commerce sellers with solutions including VAT, EPR, product compliance, company formation, accounting, and other cross-border business services.

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team a professional, efficient and proactive Human Resources service across the company. The post holder will support managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, regulatory requirements, company policies and best practice.

The HR Officer will lead on all day-to-day HR operations, providing expert advice and guidance on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, attendance management, training and development, HR systems and compliance.

The post holder will work closely with the director and senior managers to support organisational objectives, promote employee engagement and contribute to continuous improvement across the company.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR enquiries, employee records, HR systems and reporting.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the full recruitment process, pre-employment checks and new starter onboarding.
Employee Relations: Support and manage disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
Payroll & HR Systems: Maintain accurate payroll information and process employee and contractual changes.
Attendance Management: Monitor sickness absence and support managers with absence management and return-to-work processes.
HR Policies & Compliance: Review and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR and relevant regulatory requirements.
Learning & Development: Coordinate mandatory training, inductions and staff development activities.
Performance Management: Support appraisals, probation reviews and performance improvement processes.
HR Documentation: Prepare and maintain contracts, letters, policies and other HR documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and employee engagement.

About You

Essential:

CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
Experience managing employee relations cases.
Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding.
Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and GDPR.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

CIPD Level 7 or relevant degree.
Experience using BrightHR or similar HR systems.
Experience within education or another regulated environment.
