About the Role

We are looking for confident, motivated and personable individuals to join our Manchester-based sales team.

As a Field Sales Assistant, you will represent established consumer brands through face-to-face customer acquisition campaigns. You will speak with potential customers in residential, events or business to business areas. Explain the product or service clearly and help customers complete the sign-up process where appropriate.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys meeting new people, working as part of an ambitious team and developing practical communication, sales and leadership skills.

Previous sales experience is helpful but not essential, as initial training and ongoing coaching are provided.

Key Responsibilities

Represent our campaign partners professionally during face-to-face customer interactions.
Approach and engage potential customers in designated field locations.
Explain products, services, prices and promotional offers accurately.
Answer customer questions clearly and honestly.
Complete customer registrations in line with campaign procedures.
Respect a customer’s decision and maintain professional conduct at all times.
Attend daily campaign meetings, coaching sessions and development workshops.
Work towards individual and team performance targets.
Follow all customer-care, data-protection and compliance requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, professional and reliable attitude.
Confidence speaking with members of the public.
The ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
A willingness to learn and respond positively to coaching.
Good timekeeping and personal organisation.
The ability to travel to different campaign locations around Greater Manchester.
Availability to work a full-time schedule.

Training and Development

Successful applicants will receive structured introductory training covering:

Product and campaign knowledge.
Customer communication.
Ethical sales practices.
Customer-care and compliance standards.
Personal development and leadership skills.

Ongoing coaching is provided, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as experience and performance develop.

Progression and Travel Opportunities

There are opportunities for high-performing individuals to progress into areas such as campaign coaching, team leadership and business development.

Team members may also be considered for UK and international business trips including Paris, Ibiza, Dubai and more. Travel opportunities are subject to performance, availability and business requirements and are not guaranteed.
