Precious Metals Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and driven Precious Metals Coordinator to deliver an exceptional, bespoke inspection service for clients across a diverse range of precious metal-bearing commodities at locations worldwide. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, requiring a proactive individual who can manage complex projects end-to-end while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy and client service. You will play a key role in coordinating inspection activities, supporting commercial operations, and ensuring seamless delivery in line with both client expectations and company standards.

Role

Location: Prescot
Shift: Monday to Friday (08:30 - 17:00). This role is office based, with the potential for hybrid working after six months.
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
Hours: 37.5
Closing Date: Friday 17th July 2026

The Day to Day

Manage precious metal inspection projects on a day-to-day basis in close liaison with ALS’ international client base.
Support Key Account Management and deliver a consistently high level of customer service to ALS current and potential client base.
Producing quotations and commercial agreements detailing an often-bespoke service offering.
Reporting and exchanging analysis certificates to/on behalf of the customer.
Performing some occasional operational/inspection work on behalf of the Precious Metals Department both domestically and internationally.
Attending industry and networking events to promote ALS’ precious metals service portfolio.

The Essentials

Experience with regards to precious metal inspection or analysis would be advantageous.
Experience using Management Information Systems
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
A collaborative, team-oriented approach to work
Technology-aware with a focus on efficiency and process improvement
High level of professionalism, initiative and self-motivation
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Results-focused with a commitment to achieving organisational goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
