Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on construction sites. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction activities, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on site
Follow instructions from site supervisors and assist tradespeople as required
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal
Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor immediately
Participate in site meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

Valid CSCS card is essential for this role
Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills
Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Awareness of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
Driving Licence
